Air travel – How can we get to Morocco and then return home?

 

There are a number of options for getting to Morocco. Casablanca has an international airport (and the largest in Morocco). There are a number of airlines that depart from Los Angeles with a stop on the east coast of the USA or in Europe.

 

If you are going on the Spain portion of our tour, consider a multi-city flight where you fly into Casablanca and return home from Madrid OR select a round-trip flight Los Angeles to Madrid and then take a flight from Madrid to Casablanca.

What is the weather like in Morocco in June?

 

The weather is usually hot and dry during the month of June. It will be very similar to the weather in Southern California during the summer.

 

According to the website http://www.holiday-weather.com/marrakesh/averages/ the average high temperature in Marrakech in June is 95 degrees F and the average low is 66 degrees F. There is very little rain in Morocco during the summer months.

 

The weather in the coastal cities of Casablanca (average high in the 70s F) and Essaouira will be cooler

 

It will also be cooler in the mountain regions such as Chefchaouen and Imlil
