I really have a passion for travel - enjoying it and planning it. I'm fairly adventurous. I love traveling to "far off lands" - places that are definitely off the beaten path where many people are leery of traveling (you'll have to excuse the cliches in this paragraph). I'm happy backpacking in these destinations for a month or two at a time - either by myself or with a family member such as my daughter who's my favorite travel partner. She has the same sense of adventure that I do. We've done Petra, the Holy Land, Machu Picchu, Morocco, Myanmar (previously Burma), Vietnam, China, Nicaragua, Colombia and other exotic destinations together - what an incredible bonding experience that I'll always have memories of:
Navigating in a foreign land - figuring it out together when we don't have command of the language, enjoying a site for the first time together and deciding who will be the first to sample the local delicacy
And then sitting back at the end of the day enjoying a drink together amazed at all the experiences we went through that day. And then going out and doing it all over again the next day.
After 38 years in the resort and theme park business, I retired from Walt Disney Parks & Resorts so I had the time to pursue my passion - traveling the world. There’s so many destinations to travel to and so many experiences just waiting to be enjoyed.
After planning my own travels for many years, and thoroughly loving it, my next goal is to plan travel for others. In the near future, I hope to be able to assist other travelers realize their dream trip just as I’ve been doing. Stay tuned!
